Who’s successful Oscar’s chuyen cua sao come next?

  After five acting nominations and one nomination as producer of  The Best Picture nominee for The Wolf of Wall Street  Leonardo  DiCaprio finally won an Oscar and he received a standing ovation as he picked up his award Last February 28. Some actor does some great performances but of course not everyone can win an Oscar. They deliver great performances but they just get hosed. Here is the list of five good actors without Oscars.

1. Johnny Depp

In 2004 he was nominated for Best actor in his performance as Capt. Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the black Pearl (2003) but lost to Sean Penn, Mystic River (2003). He also nominated for Best Actor in Finding Neverland (2004) and lost to Jamie Foxx, Ray (2004). He also lost to Daniel Day-Lewis for There will be blood (2007) on his performance in Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber (2007).

2. Tom Cruise

He was nominated for Best Actor Award for Born on the Fourth of July (1989) in 1990 and lost to Daniel Day-Lewis, My Left Foot (1989). In 1997, he was lost to Geoffrey Rush, Shine (1996) on his performance in Jerry Maguire (1996) for Best Actor Award. In 2002 he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Category for Magnolia (1999) and lost to Sir Micheal Caine, The Cider House Rules (1999).

3. Robert Downey,Jr.

     He was nominated for Best Actor in 1993 for his performance in Chaplin (1992) but lost AL Pacino, Scent of a Woman (1992). In 2009 nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Tropic Thunder (2008) and lost to the late Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight (2008).

4. Liam Neeson

     He was nominated for best Actor in 1994 for Schindle's List (1993) and lost to Tom Hanks for Philadelphia (1993).

5. Will Smith

    In 2002, He was nominated for best actor, Ali (2001) and lost to Denzel Washington, Training Day (2001). He got a Best Actor nomination in 2007 for The pursuit of Happyness (2006) but lost to Forest Whitaker, The Last King of Scotland (2006).
